Texas electricity plans, priced at what you actually use

929 plans are on the Public Utility Commission’s board today across eight service areas. We keep every one of the three prices it publishes, sort on the usage you pick, and flag the 100 whose advertised rate only applies at one usage level.

Bill credit marks a plan whose 1,000 kWh price is more than 25% below both its 500 and 2,000 kWh price — the shape of a plan built around a usage-triggered credit. That threshold is ours, and we publish it so you can disagree with it. It is a fact about the pricing, not an accusation.

The board also carries 915 listings in Spanish. Most are the same plans, but not all of them: some offers are listed in Spanish only. These pages rank the English listings.
